As if the world ends. Chapter Nine. the startling conclusion

“Whah, What happened?” I mumble to the man in a blue bio-hazard suit standing over the gurney I was on. “Don’t you remember?” he looked at me. Louie! “No, what happened.” I asked as I realized my shoulder hurt like I’d been shot there. “You entered the bank and shot the man inside.” He told me. “Wait, didn’t you hit him with your .308?” I asked as that’s what I remembered. “No, but after he was confirmed lifeless, you ran the hostages out and ran back in to assist the coroners with moving the body. And it stood up and bit your shoulder…..” my eyes must have gotten REALLY big because Louie stepped back and said “Russ are you ok?” I replied “Louie, give me your pistol.” I told him “Whah, what? Why? What happened in that bank?” he looked really worried. “Louie, I’m ordering you, hand me your pistol, exit the room, use a level 6 bio-hazard clean-up kit, burn my body, and the hostage takers’.” I looked at him he seemed confused. “Louie give me your fucking gun or I swear to god the world is about to become a fucking war zone!” he reluctantly handed me his pistol and stepped out of the room, I felt the weapon which seemed to be getting heavier and heavier the longer I held it, the metal felt cold and hard.

And my world ended………..
