Credits are the vital currency of HorrorSchool. Every time you manifest a script, develop a print in the Darkroom, or summon a video in the Nightmare Engine, a specific amount of Credits are consumed from your reserve.
How do Monthly Sustenance tiers work? +
Our memberships (The Taste, The Vial, The IV Bag, and Full Body) replenish your credits automatically every month. Unused credits do not roll over; your vault is reset to your tier’s maximum capacity at the start of each billing cycle.
Can I buy more credits without upgrading my Monthly Sustenance tier? +
Yes, but you must have an active Monthly Sustenance tier to purchase additional credits. One-off top-up packages are available exclusively to active members who run low before their next billing cycle.
What is the Script Doctor? +
The Script Doctor is your collaborative AI assistant. It helps you brainstorm, outline, and refine your macabre concepts into highly detailed prompts, shot lists, and scripts ready for the production pipeline.
What is the Darkroom? +
The Darkroom is your primary static image generator. Use it to create striking storyboards, concept art, and establishing shots using our uncensored image models.
How does the Nightmare Engine work? +
The Nightmare Engine brings your nightmares to life by rendering high-fidelity cinematic video. You can animate text prompts, or upload a static starting frame (like an image from the Darkroom). Uploading a custom starting frame automatically crops it to fit your chosen cinematic ratio and costs a small additional credits fee.
How do I use Inpainting, and can I use specific faces? +
Inpainting allows you to surgically edit your generated images by painting a mask over the area you want to change or replace. You can use specific faces or objects in these scenes, but you may only use faces of people or actors that you legally have the rights to use.
What does the Upscaler do? +
The Upscaler is designed to take your standard generations and dramatically enhance their resolution and detail. It transforms storyboard-quality images into high-definition, production-ready assets suitable for printing or final composite work.
How does the Vault work? +
The Vault is your private, secure storage architecture. Every image, video, and script you generate in the pipeline is automatically cataloged and saved to your Vault. It serves as your personal production archive.
Are my saves permanent? +
Yes, as long as you maintain an active account. You can browse, download, upscale, or send previous generations to the Nightmare Engine at any time without needing to regenerate them from scratch.
Is HorrorSchool completely uncensored? +
HorrorSchool is purpose-built to allow for cinematic horror that generic AI platforms block. However, we strictly prohibit the generation of real-world violence, non-consensual deepfakes of real individuals, child exploitation material (CSAM), and illegal acts.
How do you enforce the content rules if the AI is unrestricted? +
We use a proprietary, multi-layered moderation system. Before any prompt generates an image, it passes through an ultra-fast safety filter tuned specifically for horror context. This allows us to ignore fictional “gore” flags while strictly catching and blocking prompts attempting to violate our Acceptable Use Policy.
What happens if my prompt is blocked by the safety filters? +
If your prompt is caught by our safety filters for violating our illegal/abusive content rules, the generation is instantly terminated. No credits are deducted from your account. However, repeated violations will flag your account for manual review and potential suspension.
Why am I locked out of the production tools after signing up? +
For security and platform integrity, all accounts must pass through our Email Verification Gatekeeper before accessing the unrestricted pipeline. Check your inbox for a transmission containing your secure access token.
Are my prompts or uploaded images used to train the AI? +
No. We route your requests through secure, enterprise-grade API pipelines. Your original inputs, uploaded images, and generated outputs are never used to train or improve the foundational AI models.
