1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using HorrorSchool, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use HorrorSchool.
2. The Service and “Blood” Credits HorrorSchool provides AI-powered creative tools. Usage of these tools requires a virtual currency called “Blood.”
- Purchases: “Blood” is granted via monthly membership tiers or one-time “Emergency Splash” top-ups.
- No Cash Value: “Blood” has no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and is non-transferable between accounts.
- Refunds: Due to the computationally expensive nature of AI generation, all purchases of subscriptions and “Blood” top-ups are final and non-refundable. Failed generations resulting from AI safety filter triggers will not deduct “Blood” from your account.
3. Content Ownership and License
- Your Ownership: Subject to these Terms, you retain ownership rights to the inputs (prompts/images) you provide and the outputs you generate using HorrorSchool, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Our License: By using the Service, you grant HorrorSchool a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your inputs and outputs solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g., displaying them in your Vault or a public community feed, if you choose to share them).
4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) HorrorSchool is built for cinematic, fictional horror creation. However, we maintain strict safety boundaries. You may not use the Service to generate, upload, or share:
- Non-consensual deepfakes or likenesses of real, private individuals.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors.
- Content that promotes real-world terrorism, illegal acts, or self-harm.
- Gore or violence depicted in a real-world, non-fictional, or threatening context (e.g., snuff material).
- Hate speech or discriminatory content.
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate account termination without a refund.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties Generative AI is inherently unpredictable. HorrorSchool does not guarantee that the outputs will perfectly match your expectations, nor do we guarantee 100% uptime of third-party AI APIs. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
6. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, HorrorSchool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service or the generated outputs.
7. Changes to these Terms We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or sending an email to your registered address.
